Understanding, The Key To Good Communication:

Understanding, without it, how can you even attempt to communicate. This is so important, to Communicate and Bond.

Example With Boss:
I use to always repeat what my boss would say, and he would ask me "Why you gotta repeat everything I say". I told him, so I understand and make sure I get it right. He thought I was just mocking him. After I cleared it up, he understood and we had no problem, and I always got the job done right. He then appreciated the extra step I took to understand.

Example With Loved One:
I gave my Mother $6.00, to make a bet at the race track for me. I told her what horses and starting numbers they were. As a result, one of the horses was pulled out and the horse numbers were adjusted. If she would have just bet the numbers, I would have lost, but because she understood me and bet the horses, I won. Due to our family bond and good communication, I received $3,200.00 for that bet, yeah.

Unfortunately, people don't always understand, and this causes unnecessary problems that could have been avoided.
Moms and Dads, do you have communication problems, always screaming at the kids, kids won't listen, they don't want to wear your old fashion clothes, they want to be with their friends.
Sure, you've been there, done that. Some things are the same, some are different. I'm sure you're parents went through the same problems. Think back, you will see, they have to make their own mistakes, grow their own personalities and learn. That will never change, just keep offering your wisdom in a calm way, trust them and be there for them, when they need you.

Kids, life is tough sometimes, but your elders do know a thing or two. They've been there, done that. Maybe some things have changed a little, but they have some good advice for you, that comes from their hearts. We know you have to make your own mistakes, that's part of life. Just listen and understand where their coming from, then explain why you need this. If you show respect and truly listen, they will listen to you.

If you all stay calm and listen to each other, trust each other and just talk with love. "Give to others, what you want in return, and you shall receive, what you give."

OK, you see the love with the Brady Bunch, or The Walton's, or any other happy family on TV. Yes, this is possible, if you listen and understand each other. Communication and Bonding will come naturally, if you just do it, understand and think with your hearts and not your head sometimes.

5 Steps To Better Understanding:
1) Give your full undivided attention.
2) Feel where they are coming from.
3) Respond and ask questions.
4) Think about what they are saying.
5) Ask more questions.

If you're still having problems with them understanding, or they don't want to listen, please feel free to contact us, we would be more than happy to listen and help.

Thank you and have a wonderful life.
