Trust, the first step to an everlasting bond!
Trust, without it, you cannot form that most precious bond. It is so hard to gain and so easy to lose. I don't care what others say, "turn the other cheek", "forgive and forget", or any other sayings. If you do a loved one wrong, you may still be friends, but you won't have that true bond anymore. Somewhere deep inside, they can't forget what happened, no matter how much they want to, and will never be able to give you 100 % trust again, without a lot of work.Always think before you act. Do you know how good it feels, when knowing they will always be there for you, no matter what. When you get together and laugh all night long. When you need $100 by tomorrow, or you will be out in the street. When you're just feeling down and need someone to pick you up. Always think before you act; Will this jeopardize my bond, will I lose my friend over this? Think of trust as the fuel for your car, you're in a desert, 100 miles from anything and it's 130 degrees outside. Do you really want to run out of fuel. If you just use common sense, I know you have it, everybody does, and think about your actions and their results, you'll be OK. I will share a story with you here: "I had a friend, that I knew for 25 years. I thought of him like a brother, till one day. He was having problems. I would help him with his rent and other bills, I even gave him $1500 one time to pay for a warrant for his arrest. I helped him with over $20,000 in that one year. One day, he just turned on me, stole a lot of my personal belongings and threaten to shoot me. It may have been from the drugs or the new personality he developed from being in prison. Either way I just wished him the best of luck and walked away. He lost all my trust at that moment. " Even the little things, can make a person wonder and destroy your friendship. So, just think before you act or speak, how much does that bond really mean to you. God bless you all! How to build trust and keep it: 5 Steps To Save Your Trust: 1) Think about the worth of your friendship. 2) Think about the consequences. 3) Take a deep breath. 4) Think about #1 & 2 again. 5) Think about how you would feel if they did that to you. P.S. Never scam (Click here for more on scams) your friends, it's not worth it in the end. Thank you and have a wonderful life. Dr. G
