Loneliness:

You lost a loved one by death or just by him/her leaving you. You feel alone and confused, that's normal, but some people have a hard time letting go.

You did nothing wrong, you gave your love and that is all anyone can do. You must remember the good times and move on. Do not obsess over lost love, or it will effect your health and those still around you.

Everybody goes through being alone at one time or another in their life. What you need to do is, take advantage of this alone time, for peace of mind and then get right back up on the horse. Do not let someone run your life, it's your life, take control of it and be happy with what you still have.

5 Steps To Avoid Loneliness:

1) Call a friend or family member
2) Set a play date with a friend or family member
3) Go shopping, buy a book, rent a comedy movie
4) Meet and talk to a stranger
5) Visit an elderly care home and share some love with anybody there
P.S. Absolutely, NO Alcohol during loneliness (Alcohol is a depressant)!

Some lonely people have a harder time than others, if you feel you can't handle it or get past it. Please, call a friend or someone, just don't be alone. Tell them what's going on and that you need their help.

Check out the death page for more on loneliness, or leave a question in our Issues Forum for more help, that's what we're here for, (To help one another)

Thank you and have a wonderful life.
